Dr. Yan Dapeng led the team to develop my country's first 25W pulsed fiber laser products, the first 100W, 1000W, 4000W, 6000W, 10kW and 20kW continuous fiber laser products and realized mass production. Dr. Yan Dapeng has successively won one second prize of the National Science and Technology Invention Award, and a number of provincial and ministerial science and technology awards including the Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Special Award. In 2020, he won the honorary title of National Model Worker.

 

Yan Dapeng led the team to achieve more than 100 technological innovations and breakthroughs in fiber laser power synthesis, laser chips and complete laser manufacturing equipment, and independently developed 16 varieties of high-performance high-power fiber laser series products and more than 200 varieties of laser welding and cutting. The series of equipment, with more than 1,500 direct application units worldwide, has made important contributions to the construction of an internationally competitive and influential laser and laser manufacturing strategy emerging industry. "The country asked me to study abroad, and I always felt that I had to learn a skill well and repay the country." In 2007, 51-year-old Yan Dapeng quit his job abroad, sold his house, and returned to China with his family and settled in Wuhan to start a business. After years of development and growth, Wuhan Ruike Fiber Laser Technology Co., Ltd. where he works has become the first domestic leading company that specializes in fiber laser research and development, production, and sales, and is listed on the ChiNext.
